Stringfellow Memorial Hospital’s Volunteer Auxiliary has a long history of caring and devoted members. Formed in 1961, the contributions and good will of past and current members is in keeping with Susie Parker Stringfellow’s generosity of spirit and personal commitment to ensuring a nurturing and healing environment for all.
Our Volunteers receive: Free annual flu shot Free meal for each 4-hour shift Recognition and holiday banquets Appreciation and gratitude from community members and staff Areas of Service Information Desk Assistance Pre-Admitting Testing Dept. Assistance Same Day Surgery Assistance Clerical Support Transporting/Escorting patients All volunteer hours are Monday – Friday. No evenings, weekends or holidays expected.
